4th of July
This is a tribute post for July 4th this past weekend. I am grateful for the country we live in, the freedom we enjoy and the opportunities it provides for all of us. I hope that we use those opportunities to become our best selves, to be informed and involved about the events of our nation and that we work to help those around us reach their full potential.
In addition I would love to share about the fun things I participated in during this holiday.
Vacation Plans
For my vacation I was able to spend time with my family and other relatives over the weekend. We spent time together at home and some of us traveled up a canyon later in the weekend. We had had breakfast and attended a parade.
Lake Mary
We took a hike after the parade and went to Lake Mary. It was a beautiful hike and the lake was wonderful. The lake was oriented in a way so it could not be seen from the trailhead beforehand. Since the lake was up higher, it provided an extensive and wonderful view of the area. It was a great experience.
